Contact Us

Phoenix Care Wakefield was established in 2011 with an objective to deliver a fresh approach to personal care to individuals who need assistance within their own homes.

From the beginning Phoenix Care Wakefield has had one main objective, which was to base its business around delivering only the finest care to its clients. Although Phoenix care Wakefield plans to grow, we believe that clients care should and will always be put first before profits and is the basis of our company and will only offer a service with the knowledge that the care package can be fulfilled to the highest standard.

Servicing Wakefield and surrounding towns, you can be sure that you will receive only the finest care. All care packages are tailor made and are established and maintained by liaising directly with yourself and family members, to ensure that you will only receive a quality care package set around your personal needs, using designated carers, you can be sure that once your care plan has begun it will be maintained by your personal carer.

All our carers are highly valued and are encouraged to offer their opinions and suggestions to maintain only the highest standards and we feel that our carers are rewarded for their contributions towards the day to day running of the company by way of paying our staff well above the industry pay scales, in turn we believe because of this our staff are happy and feel valued, bringing a positive attitude to the company.

Should you have any questions or require any advice please feel free to contact us and we will endeavour to assist you in any way we can.

The service offers the opportunity for individuals to live at home and to have the support of trained staff to maintain welfare and choice, support with daily living skills, support with emotional needs, support with personal care, whilst maintaining a level of independence at home and empowering the individual.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.

Visiting Care - Person Centered Care
Our visiting calls allow the people we care for to live as independent life as possible in their own homes rather than have no choice but to go into a care home with dozens of other people.
All our home care patients are thoroughly assessed and have a unique care plan drawn up and agreed by them and often a close relative who understands their needs.

Personal Care & Cleaning Calls
Our personal care services are delivered as part of the over all care plan drawn up for each individual. These services include everything from helping them put on a sock through to showering or bathing the person we care for.

Medication Calls
Often we are required to make sure the people we care for are taking the right medication at the right times. All of our staff are fully trained to deliver this level of care and are also fully trained to operate PEG feeding systems where required.

Day or Night Sitting Service
Whether a sitting service is required to keep the person we care for company during the day or to give them peace of mind someone is there for them during the night we offer a flexible sitting service. Both day and night services can be regular events, delivered as part of the care plan or on an ad hoc basis.

Palliative Care
For those people who would prefer end of life care to be in their home rather than a hospice we offer a full range of palliative care services. Following a thorough assessment of needs, we draw up a personalised care plan which is designed to give the right level level of support and as much independence and comfort as possible to the person we care for.

Social Inclusion Care

We understand the importance of the person we care for having the right balance between their home environment and the outside world. Wherever possible, we build into the person's care plan regular social inclusion calls which give them time out of the home whether it be for socialising or simply seeing the world outside their homes in the company of their carer.

Most of the people we care for enjoy visiting their friends, shopping trips (food or clothes shopping), days out in parks and at the seaside - whatever they want to do, we make sure we fit it into their schedule of care.

We make sure the person we care for gets to lead the life they want to life not just a life confined to the four walls of their home.

We offer full, in home, respite care services to give both a well deserved break to carers and peace of mind that the person we both care for is receiving a professional care service following a care plan created specifically for them.

We take the time to learn your care routines, what medication is required and what social inclusion the person we care for requires in the usual carer's absence.

Our respite care services are flexible and can be built in as a regular service as part of a care plan or requested on an ad hoc basis when the carer needs a break from 1 hour to a few weeks.

As we grow our business, we continue to build our team of professional and dedicated individuals to deliver a quality care service to our clients.

If you are caring, have experience of being a carer in the past, show initiative and work well in a team of professionals, we would like to hear from you. We are an equal opportunities employer.
